SPFL Premiership | Caledonian Stadium | 5.30pm K.O. | FT
After an incredible match in the Highlands, Aberdeen triumphed despite a second half fight back from Inverness. The Dons played superbly in the first half and led 4-0 at half time thanks to a double from Barry Robson (the first from the penalty spot) followed by strikes from Peter Pawlett and Niall McGinn.
Just after the break, Billy McKay scored two goals as Caley looked to get themselves back into the game and the final few minutes of the game were nervy for the visitors when Shinnie headed the ball home to make it 3-4. Mark Reynolds had earlier been stretchered off after an awkward fall on 65 minutes. The Dons held on though to record an important victory that moves them into joint second place in the SPFL Premiership.
