Well I had my medical assessment with ATOS this morning, well what can I say I was dumbfounded, my H.C.P was very helpful and apologetic for the problem that I had with my first appointment,( still not good enough they could have phoned me first thing) as for today she asked me the usual questions and did the usual examination, which I could only do some of as the pain was to much, also took note of some more information that I had with me. The only downfall was that I was unable to have it recorded as I did not request it before today, however I have phoned my local job centre plus to request a copy of the report to be sent to me. I am now waiting for the decision maker to decide whether I am fit to work or not. I am not going to hold my breath. If the decision goes against me I will not go down without a fight

OMG What is this woman on, or should I say What Plannet is she on or has she been on the whakky bakky . I also think she needs to go back to school. Thank god she is not in the White House. This Story has been taken from a post on Facebook by , http://dailycurrant.com/ Sarah Palin called for the invasion of the Czech Republic today in response to the recent terrorist attacks in Boston. In an interview with Fox News, the former governor of Alaska said that although federal investigators have yet to complete their work, the time for action is now. "We don't know everything about these suspects yet," Palin told Fox and Friends this morning, referring to Tamerlan and Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, who allegedly carried out the Boston Marathon attacks. "But we know they were Muslims from the Czech Republic. "I betcha I speak for a lot of Americans when I say I want to go over there right now and start teaching those folks a lesson. And let's not stop at the Czech Republic, let's go after all Arab countries. "The Arabians need to learn that they can't keep comin' over here and blowing stuff up. Let's set off a couple of nukes in Islamabad, burn down Prague, then bomb the heck out of Tehran. We need to show them that we mean business." Can't See Russia...Although hosts Steve Doocy and Gretchen Carlson applauded Palin's jingoism, they immediately attempted to rectify her multiple geographic errors. "Well Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan, which isn't Arab," Carlson corrected, "and Tehran is the capital of Iran, which is predominantly Persian. But I do see your point." "Also Czech Republic isn't really an Arab or even Muslim country, I don't think," Doocy added, "but otherwise what you're saying makes a lot of sense. I think most Americans wish Obama would step up and lead on this one." Palin, however, didn't take kindly to being corrected and defended her analysis. "Steve, that's probably one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard. How is Czech Republic not a Muslim country? You saw those brothers, they were Islamic and they were Chechen!" "Yes there were Muslim and they were ethnic Chechens," Doocy started, "but they grew up mostly in Kyrgyzstan and the United States. And more importantly, Chechens don't come from the Czech Republic, they come from Chechnya, which is part of Russia. " "What's the difference?" Palin responded. "Isn't Russia part of the Czech Republic?" "No, the Czech Republic is a separate country. It's part of the European Union and a strong NATO ally," Doocy noted. "But heck, why not? Let's invade. What could go wrong?" "Yeah and while we're at it," Carlson added, "let's call the Queen of England and see if the U.K. will join us." In a statement released after the interview, Palin attacked Fox News and its "pro-Islamic" and "pro-geography" bias. "This is just another case of the politically correct liberal media refusing to tell the truth about radical Islam," she said. http://dailycurrant.com/ I Have copied the following from the Aberdeen Voice's story about my experience with ATOS Medical in Aberdeen, thanks to Suzanne Kelly for taking up my story
By Suzanne Kelly. Evidence continues to mount against the French giant ATOS, brought in to assess the fitness of UK citizens to work or otherwise, yet the current UK Government does nothing. Sensationally, Dr Stephen Bick MP claimed to have uncovered a quota system through which ATOS planned to allow only one in every eight people it assessed to be considered permanently unable to work, irrespective of the medical facts. Scores of people have had their own physicians’ opinions overturned. Bick has called for a National Audit Office report. And still ATOS carries on, at great expense to the taxpayer, with its ritualistic, insensitive, arcane investigations and operations. Sometimes they cause upset and damage before the client even sees a doctor – take David Brazendale’s case. In his words, here is his Aberdeen ATOS experience. “I had an appointment set to take place at the ATOS Medicals, Aberdeen centre today at 11.20. It never happened as I was told when I got there at 11.10, the required 10 min early, that there was a 2 hour wait. Well, the air nearly turned blue with steam coming from my ears. This is a copy of the e-mail I have just sent them.” “Dear Sirs I am writing to you today to make an official complaint about your Aberdeen Medical Centre. I had an appointment today scheduled to take place at 11.20 at the Aberdeen medical centre, I struggled to make the appointment after a 45 min journey to get there the required 10 min early for the appointment. When I got there I was informed that there was a long wait for my appointment well you can imagine my shock to find out that is was at least a 2 Hour wait, at the time I was there was only one other person sitting in the waiting room. I find this totally unacceptable as I had an appointment for a set time , also I have not received any communication before I got there today. I said that I would come back in 2 hours as I could not sit and wait for 2 hours, anyway how many disabled people do you know who could sit and wait for 2 hours? I was then told that I could not come back in 2 hours as it might upset the afternoon appointment so I was sent away and was told that I would get another appointment for a different day, it’s bad enough that I have to go there in the first place, never mind the fact that I was only released from Hospital yesterday the 11th April after having a hernia repair operation and I was in severe pain on top of the chronic back pain that I have anyway. I have contacted my local Job Centre Plus about this, who told me I had to make a complaint to ATOS myself. Yours Disgusted David John Brazendale.” At David’s invitation I contacted ATOS on Monday 15 April, asking questions relating to both his bad experience and ATOS’s treatment of Justin Smith. David now has a letter from ATOS regarding his e-mail and it has launched an investigation into his complaint which should take four weeks or less to complete. ATOS was asked to explain its lack of communication with David. Its own charter reads, “We aim to keep to your appointment time, and if not, we will update you about any waiting times” Other issues put to ATOS include:-
ESA/WCA Customer Service: Telephone 0800 2888 777. E-mail: [email protected] Anyone with a complaint should register it, but judging by the evidence of those who have gone down the complaint route, I would not expect a particularly sympathetic, helpful, quick decision. The spokesperson continued, “Our doctors, nurses and physiotherapists work hard to provide a compassionate and professional service for all those asked to an assessment, at what we know can be a difficult and emotional time. Last year we conducted over one million assessments on behalf of the Department for Work and Pensions. “If there is any aspect of our service that people are not satisfied with, we would urge them to make a complaint to us directly so that we can thoroughly investigate and make changes if necessary.” To my cancer-related questions, they had this to say: “On your cancer question, please may I refer you to a recent announcement made by the DWP on cancer regulations for the WCA? You will be aware that DWP own the policy surrounding the WCA not ATOS Healthcare.” It seems that following orders is the order of the day at ATOS. If it wishes to disavow responsibility for part of the work it carries out as a medical practitioner, could this put ATOS medical ethics in a poor light? I recommend reading the full transcript of Dame Anne Begg MP’s recent contribution to the debate from which this is an extract, “It is not enough for Government to say that the genuine claimant has nothing to fear. In too many cases, genuine claimants are not scoring any points in their initial assessment. There is something fundamentally wrong with the system and the contract that ATOS is delivering. “When the British Medical Association votes at its conference to say that the work capability assessment is not fit for purpose there is something wrong with the system. When GPs are reporting an increased workload, not just as a result of providing reports but as a result of treating patients whose condition has worsened as a result of their WCA experience, there is something wrong with the system.” Sources/further reading: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/steven-bick-doctor-claims-government-1172457 http://annebegg.wordpress.com/2012/09/07/ATOS-debate-speech-transcript/ https://www.gov.uk/government/news/more-improvements-to-the-work-capability-assessment-will-help-people-with-cancer River rescue lamb in legal wrangle in Aberdeenshire The newborn lamb has been named River by staff at Willows A newborn lamb which was saved from drowning after being rescued from an Aberdeenshire river is at the centre of a legal wrangle. Willows Animal Sanctuary, near New Pitsligo, has looked after the lamb - which has been named River - since it was handed in earlier this month. However, a farmer has now told the sanctuary that he owns the "pedigree" lamb - and he wants it back. Willows said proof of ownership was needed and lawyers were now involved. Kate Robinson, of Willows, told the BBC Scotland news website: "We are appealing to the farmer's better nature. Everyone here is so attached to River now. "A schoolgirl pulled the lamb from the river and looked after it as it was so weak. "We were then contacted and agreed to take him in good faith. "We were later contacted by a farmer saying it was his lamb and he wanted it back. "It is now a legal process." 'Something special'Farmer John McIrvine, of Strachan, said he wanted the lamb back due to its breeding potential, and was willing to make a donation. He said the lamb's mother had also been left distressed. Mr McIrvine told BBC Scotland: "He's an incredible tup lamb and he's got so much breeding potential for me as a ram that his value could be quite high. "If he was only worth £50 I would donate him to Willows Animal Sanctuary but in this particular lamb there's something special. "I've offered to give them another lamb or pay for him to get him back but no, they will not play ball. "They're keeping the lamb and that's it - they've put it in the hands of their solicitors." http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-scotland-north-east-orkney-shetland-22214425 ATOS Medical have sent me a letter that says, Your appointment has been rescheduled, Dear Mr Brazendale, As you know , we need to see you for an assessment in relation to you benefit claim. Your appointment at 11.20 am on Friday 12th April 2013 has been rescheduled to 8:50 on Tuesday 30th April , also I received another letter thanking me for my email dated 12th April 2013 which I express my concerns regarding the service received from ATOS Healthcare in relation to my claim for ESA. they have launched a full investigation, and they aim to complete it within the next 4 weeks. I will not hold my breath. I did not get any service there on Friday, I was not even seen by one of there healthcare professionals, as I was told that there would be a 2 hour wait and I was not aloud to come back 2 hours later

Yours Disgusted, David John Brazendale Got a phone call yesterday, regarding my hernia repair operation which I have been waiting for some 5 months, only to find out I have to go to Dundee next Wednesday to have the operation done, not at a NHS Hospital but at the BMI Hospital in Dundee. I thought that the NHS was strapped for cash , yet they can afford to send me to Dundee and pay for my train fare and the operation. This operation is going to cost NHS Grampian over £2000, when it could be done in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for a lot less what they will do to cut the waiting lists . Not that I am complaining at least I should be pain free after it's done, I am just glad that I have finally got a date for the operation. I could have chosen not to have it done , however it would only get worse and could cause more complications and I would probably have to wate another 5 months to get it done at the
